Why is my Payoneer account transitioning to a Firstchoice Pay account?

Firstchoice Pay was created to ensure the right infrastructure is in place to support the payment needs of all customers. With Firstchoice Pay, you can rest assured that you have a quality payment provider for years to come!

What if I do not want to work with Firstchoice Pay?

If you would like to close your Firstchoice Pay account, you may use the remaining funds on your prepaid MasterCard® and contact Customer Care to close your account.

How do I receive and access payments with Firstchoice Pay?

You will receive payments directly to your Firstchoice Pay Prepaid MasterCard®. You can access payments in three ways:
  1. Purchase goods and services online or in stores, anywhere MasterCard® is accepted!
  2. Withdraw funds from any ATM worldwide or to your bank account.
  3. Pay anyone in the Firstchoice Pay network for FREE, no matter where in the world they live.
*Firstchoice Pay services are subject to availability.
With Firstchoice Pay, you can continue to receive and access payments from your favorite platforms.
Please note: Firstchoice Pay does not support payments from companies or individuals not associated with Firstchoice Pay. Additionally, Firstchoice Pay does not currently support any referral programs
In order to continue receiving payments, you must hold a prepaid MasterCard® issued by Choice Bank. If you were asked to order a new card (via email or upon logging in to your Payoneer account), please do so now.
If you did not receive a message to your email or within your Payoneer account, this means you already have a prepaid MasterCard® issued by Choice Bank and do not need to order a new card.
If you were asked to order a new prepaid MasterCard® and have not yet received it, you can continue to use your existing card at ATMs, online and in stores. Once you receive and activate your new card we’ll automatically deactivate your existing card and transfer the balance.
If you were asked to order a new prepaid MasterCard® and are located in the Eurozone you will be subject to a cross-border fee (of up to 3.5%) on transactions made in the same currency as your card. (Ex: purchases in USD on your USD card). If you were NOT asked to order a new prepaid MasterCard®, your fees will remain the same.

Yes! Payoneer is working directly with Firstchoice Pay to ensure a secure and smooth transition of your account.
Yes. We have notified all of the platforms you work with who will transition to Firstchoice Pay regarding this change, and together, we have worked hard to ensure a smooth transition.
On February 1st, you will be able to log in to your Firstchoice Pay account. For added convenience, you can use the same login details you used with your Payoneer account.
